PURE IMAGES | Protecting our Environment

PURE IMAGES is a member of Nature First that promotes the protection of the natural world.

In the Field

PURE IMAGES is proud to be a member of Nature First, an organisation that promotes the protection and preservation of the world's natural and wild places through inspiring, educating, and uniting the photography community - empowering photographers to be ambassadors of the natural world.

It is important to me that my photography work is undertaken in accordance with the principles of Nature First to ensure the protection and preservation of the beautiful natural world which inspires my photography.

Woodland Carbon Logo. All pure images greeting cards are printed on carbon captured card.

In the Studio

The provision of high quality products is a priority when creating photographic prints and gifts but I use sustainably sourced and recycled papers, card and supplies whenever possible.

All greeting cards are printed on FSC certified carbon captured card, which helps to fund the Woodland Trusts’ carbon capture scheme, offsetting the CO2 emissions of paper purchases by planting native woodland throughout the UK. Cards are accompanied by a choice of kraft or white envelopes and a recyclable cello wrap for protection.

Eco-friendly packaging used by PURE IMAGES to package and ship photographic prints and gifts.

Supplies & Packaging

All items purchased online are shipped in recycled or recyclable packaging including kraft and glassine envelopes, kraft gift wrap and packaging tape, postal boxes and honeycomb packaging paper. However, plastic bubble wrap is still currently being used for larger framed prints and glass frames to ensure they are undamaged in transit although I am currently investigating a few alternatives.
